Package RRPP updated to version 1.1.1 with previous version 1.1.0 dated 2021-10-09

Title: Linear Model Evaluation with Randomized Residuals in a Permutation Procedure
Description: Linear model calculations are made for many random versions of data. Using residual randomization in a permutation procedure, sums of squares are calculated over many permutations to generate empirical probability distributions for evaluating model effects. This packaged is described by Collyer & Adams (2018) <doi:10.1111/2041-210X.13029>. Additionally, coefficients, statistics, fitted values, and residuals generated over many permutations can be used for various procedures including pairwise tests, prediction, classification, and model comparison. This package should provide most tools one could need for the analysis of high-dimensional data, especially in ecology and evolutionary biology, but certainly other fields, as well.

Package lingtypology updated to version 1.1.7 with previous version 1.1.6 dated 2021-10-14

Title: Linguistic Typology and Mapping
Description: Provides R with the Glottolog database <https://glottolog.org/> and some more abilities for purposes of linguistic mapping. The Glottolog database contains the catalogue of languages of the world. This package helps researchers to make a linguistic maps, using philosophy of the Cross-Linguistic Linked Data project <https://clld.org/>, which allows for while at the same time facilitating uniform access to the data across publications. A tutorial for this package is available on GitHub pages <https://docs.ropensci.org/lingtypology/> and package vignette. Maps created by this package can be used both for the investigation and linguistic teaching. In addition, package provides an ability to download data from typological databases such as WALS, AUTOTYP and some others and to create your own database website.

Package ggside updated to version 0.1.3 with previous version 0.1.2 dated 2021-07-21

Title: Side Grammar Graphics
Description: The grammar of graphics as shown in 'ggplot2' has provided an expressive API for users to build plots. 'ggside' extends 'ggplot2' by allowing users to add graphical information about one of the main panel's axis using a familiar 'ggplot2' style API with tidy data. This package is particularly useful for visualizing metadata on a discrete axis, or summary graphics on a continuous axis such as a boxplot or a density distribution.

Package GeoTcgaData updated to version 1.0.2 with previous version 1.0.1 dated 2021-08-01

Title: Processing various types of data on GEO and TCGA
Description: Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) provide us with a wealth of data, such as RNA-seq, DNA Methylation, SNP and Copy number variation data. It's easy to download data from TCGA using the gdc tool, but processing these data into a format suitable for bioinformatics analysis requires more work. This R package was developed to handle these data.

Package echarty updated to version 1.4.0 with previous version 0.3.1 dated 2021-07-30

Title: Minimal R/Shiny Interface to JavaScript Library 'ECharts'
Description: The goal is to deliver the full functionality of 'ECharts' with minimal overhead. 'ECharts' is based on data structures and 'echarty' users build R lists for these same data structures. One to three 'echarty' commands are usually sufficient to produce any chart.

Package SparseBiplots updated to version 4.0.1 with previous version 4.0.0 dated 2020-06-27

Title: 'HJ-Biplot' using Different Ways of Penalization Plotting with 'ggplot2'
Description: 'HJ-Biplot' is a multivariate method that allow represent multivariate data on a subspace of low dimension, in such a way that most of the variability of the information is captured in a few dimensions. This package implements three new techniques and constructs in each case the 'HJ-Biplot', adapting restrictions to reduce weights and / or produce zero weights in the dimensions, based on the regularization theories. It implements three methods of regularization: Ridge, LASSO and Elastic Net.
