Forgot to mention that we went to see
Sonny Rollins at the
CSO last Friday. Great tickets in the second
row -- a gift -- made for a nice show. The man has still a
lot of
energy left at age 75, and one of the nicest sounds on the tenor. But somehow
the group as a whole didn't seem all that coherent. Still a pretty nice
evening out.
