Title: Trend Classification Algorithm
Description: Classifies trends as linear, quadratic, cubic, concealed, or
no-trend. Concealed trends have a quadratic or cubic form, but their net
change between the beginning and end of the time period is not statistically
significant. The no-trend category includes linear trends with a
statistically insignificant slope. The method is described in Jamali et al.

Title: Single-Cell Clustering using Autoencoder and Network Fusion
Description: A single-cell Clustering method using 'Autoencoder' and Network fusion ('scCAN') Bang Tran (2022) <doi:10.1038/s41598-022-14218-6> for segregating the cells from the high-dimensional 'scRNA-Seq' data. The software automatically determines the optimal number of clusters and then partitions the cells in a way such that the results are robust to noise and dropouts. 'scCAN' is fast and it supports Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.

Title: Create Different Types of Bibliometric Networks
Description: Functions to find edges for bibliometric networks like bibliographic coupling network, co-citation network and co-authorship network. The weights of network edges can be calculated according to different methods, depending on the type of networks, the type of nodes, and what you want to analyse. These functions are optimized to be be used on large dataset. The package contains functions inspired by: Leydesdorff, Loet and Park, Han Woo (2017) <doi:10.1016/j.joi.2016.11.007>; Perianes-Rodriguez, Antonio, Ludo Waltman, and Nees Jan Van Eck (2016) <doi:10.1016/j.joi.2016.10.006>; Sen, Subir K. and Shymal K. Title: Data Science for Psychologists
Description: All datasets and functions required for the examples and exercises of the book "Data Science for Psychologists" (by Hansjoerg Neth, Konstanz University, 2026, <doi:10.5281/zenodo.7229812>), freely available at <https://hneth-ds4psy.share.connect.posit.cloud/>. The book and corresponding courses introduce principles and methods of data science to students of psychology and other biological or social sciences. The 'ds4psy' package primarily provides datasets, but also functions for data generation and manipulation (e.g., of text and time data) and graphics that are used in the book and its exercises. All functions included in 'ds4psy' are designed to be explicit and instructive, rather than efficient or elegant.

Title: Conditionally Symmetric Multidimensional Gaussian Mixture Model
Description: Implements the conditionally symmetric multidimensional Gaussian mixture model (csmGmm) for large-scale testing of composite null hypotheses in genetic association applications such as mediation analysis, pleiotropy analysis, and replication analysis. In such analyses, we typically have J sets of K test statistics where K is a small number (e.g. 2 or 3) and J is large (e.g. 1 million). For each one of the J sets, we want to know if we can reject all K individual nulls. Please see the vignette for a quickstart guide. The paper describing these methods is "Testing a Large Number of Composite Null Hypotheses Using Conditionally Symmetric Multidimensional Gaussian Mixtures in Genome-Wide Studies" by Sun R, McCaw Z, & Lin X (Journal of the American Statistical Association 2025, <doi:10.1080/01621459.2024.2422124>).

Title: A Future API for Parallel and Distributed Processing using
'batchtools'
Description: Implementation of the Future API <doi:10.32614/RJ-2021-048> on top of the 'batchtools' package.
This allows you to process futures, as defined by the 'future' package,
in parallel out of the box, not only on your local machine or ad-hoc
cluster of machines, but also via high-performance compute ('HPC') job
schedulers such as 'LSF', 'OpenLava', 'Slurm', 'SGE', and 'TORQUE' / 'PBS',
e.g. 'y <- lapply(files, FUN = process) |> futurize::futurize()'.
